    Rajasthan Courts to Follow Summer Timings from April 13, Proceedings to Begin at 8 AM

    Rajasthan: The timings of the Rajasthan High Court as well as all subordinate courts across the state have been revised. The summer schedule will come into effect from April 13, under which court proceedings will now begin at 8 AM.

    This new arrangement will remain effective across the state until June 28. An official notification regarding the change has been issued by Shivani Singh Rajasthan High Court, Registrar (Administration) of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur. The change in judicial and office timings has been made keeping in mind the summer season.

    New Timings for High Court

    According to the notification, judicial proceedings in the Rajasthan High Court will now take place from 8 AM to 1 PM. There will be a half-hour break from 10:30 AM to 11 AM during this period.

    The office timings of the High Court have been set from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, with a 15-minute break from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM.

    Schedule for Subordinate Courts

    All trial or subordinate courts in the state will also follow revised timings, with hearings scheduled from 8 AM to 12:30 PM. These courts will have a 15-minute break from 10 AM to 10:15 AM.

    Office work in these courts will be conducted from 7:30 AM to 1 PM.

    Instructions for Presiding Officers

    As per the orders issued by the High Court administration, specific timings have also been set for presiding officers.

    All presiding officers will sit in their chambers from 7:30 AM to 8 AM and from 12:30 PM to 1 PM to carry out administrative work.
