Rajasthan Heat Rises; Barmer Crosses 39°C, More Ahead

In Rajasthan, along with strong sunlight during the day, the heat has also started increasing. On Saturday, the temperature in many cities, including Jaipur, Alwar, and Sikar, rose by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius. The hottest days on Saturday were in Kota and Barmer. In western Rajasthan, the heat has now started increasing not only during the day but also at night.

Here, on Saturday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Center Jaipur has estimated that due to clear skies for the next three to four days and strong sunlight, the temperature in the state may increase by another 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Looking at the weather of the past 24 hours, on Saturday, the weather remained clear across the state except for the Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh areas. In the Bikaner division area, clouds were present from morning to afternoon. Light rain occurred in many places, including Anupgarh, Rawlamandi, and Gharsana in Sri Ganganagar. However, after the afternoon, the weather in these areas also changed, and with the sky clearing again, sunlight emerged, which also caused a rise in temperature here.

On Saturday, the maximum daytime temperature recorded in Sri Ganganagar was 35.5 degrees Celsius, in Churu 36.3, in Bikaner 36.6, and in Hanumangarh 33 degrees Celsius.

Temperature Rose Up to 5 Degrees

On Saturday, an increase in temperature was recorded in all cities of the state. In Kota, the maximum temperature rose by 5 degrees to 39.6 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in both Kota and Barmer.

In Phalodi, the maximum temperature was 37.6 degrees Celsius, in Jodhpur 37.8, in Chittorgarh 37.2, in Udaipur 37.1, in Jalore 37, in Bikaner 36.6, in Churu 36.3, in Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Bhilwara 36.5, in Bansthali (Tonk) 36.6, in Ajmer 35.4, in Karauli 35.6, in Pratapgarh 36.7, and in Pali 36.1 degrees Celsius.
