Rajasthan High Court receives another bomb threat, search reveals nothing

Jaipur : The Jaipur bench of the Rajasthan High Court received another bomb threat email on Wednesday. This email was addressed to the court, judges, and staff. It stated that the High Court should be evacuated by 11 a.m. and that 18 bombs would explode in the premises at 1:30 p.m.

Police and bomb squad action

Police and security agencies arrived at the scene upon receiving the information. The bomb squad and dog squad conducted a thorough search of the court premises, courtrooms, and judges’ chambers. However, no suspicious object was found during the search.

Fifth threat this month

This is the fifth threat received by the High Court this month. Previously, threatening emails were received on February 6, 17, 19, and 20. Since October 31st, a total of 11 such threats have been received, which were later proven to be fake and temporarily disrupted court proceedings.

Hearings Not Impacted

Despite the threatening email received this morning, court proceedings remained unaffected. All courts functioned normally from the scheduled time of 10:30 am.
