Rajasthan Police’s 77th Foundation Day Celebrated with Great Fanfare in Jaipur

Jaipur: Rajasthan Police celebrated its 77th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and pride on Thursday.

The state-level event was held at the Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA), Jaipur, with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister said that the crime rate in the state has decreased and the security system has strengthened, which has increased investor confidence.

Focus on Crime and Cybercrime

The Chief Minister said that cybercrime and drug abuse are major challenges, which will require modern methods to be addressed.

He said that the government is working on a zero-tolerance policy against crime and corruption.

The CM also informed that an anti-narcotics task force has been formed and strict action has been taken against the paper leak mafia.

Parade and Honoring Security Forces

The Chief Minister’s arrival elevated the atmosphere of the event. He was greeted by a police motorcycle squad and mounted contingent.

The CM took the salute at the parade and praised the courage and dedication of the police personnel.

Launch of Digital Portal for Pensioners

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Rajasthan Police Pensioners Portal.

This digital platform will be linked to the RajCop Citizen App, enabling thousands of pensioners to access services from the comfort of their homes.

Honoring Civilians and Social Workers

This year, three individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the field of social service were honored at the ceremony.

These included renowned activists Sindhu Binujit (Udaipur), Prakash Prajapati (Sirohi), and Surjeet Kashyap (Jhalawar).

Sindhu Binujit has done significant work through initiatives such as child protection and child-friendly police stations, which have received state-level recognition.
