Rajasthan Weather Alert: Lightning, Rain & Hail Warning in 17 Districts

With the new weather system becoming active in Rajasthan, intermittent rain has been occurring since morning in the desert districts. Earlier, there were flashes of lightning like during the monsoon season and thunderclouds were rumbling here.

The effect of the changing weather is visible in the capital and surrounding areas. There is intermittent drizzle here. The Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for rain and hail in 17 districts today.

Rainfall of 20 to 50MM is expected here. Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Center, stated that the effect of this system will also continue on April 8. However, from April 9, the weather is expected to remain clear.

Heavy Rain in Desert Districts

Amid alerts from the weather center, cold winds have been blowing in Jaipur since Tuesday morning. Around 8 AM, rain occurred in several parts of the city. In many areas of Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Shri Ganganagar districts, the temperature has also dropped due to heavy rain.

Earlier, there were also thunderstorms here. In the desert districts, intermittent rain and hail have continued in the last week of March. Crops in these areas have suffered significant damage.
