Rajasthan Weather: Heat wave intensifies, mercury crosses 35 degrees in many cities

The heat wave continues to intensify in Rajasthan. On Tuesday, maximum temperatures exceeded 35 degrees Celsius in several cities across the state. Western districts experienced intense and scorching heat during the day.

The maximum temperature in Barmer exceeded 38 degrees Celsius. Although minimum temperatures dropped slightly, leading to slight cooling at night in some cities, temperatures remained above normal.

What did the Meteorological Center predict?
The Meteorological Center, Jaipur, has predicted a further increase in temperatures over the next two to three days, with intense heat during the day. During the past 24 hours, the sky remained clear, and the sun shone brightly from the morning. Maximum temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius or more were recorded in Pilani, Chittorgarh, Pali, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, Churu, Nagaur, Jalore, and Lunkaransar.

Mercury above 31 degrees in all cities
On Tuesday, maximum temperatures exceeded 31 degrees Celsius in all major cities across the state. Alwar recorded 31.4 degrees Celsius, Jaipur and Udaipur 33.9 degrees Celsius, Sikar 32.5 degrees Celsius, Ganganagar 33.3 degrees Celsius, Baran 32.9 degrees Celsius, Hanumangarh 31.2 degrees Celsius, Sirohi 32.8 degrees Celsius and Jhunjhunu 33.5 degrees Celsius.

Due to the intense heat, fans have started being used in homes and offices in the morning and evening in many cities. In the western districts, coolers and ACs have also started being used during the day.
