Raghava Lawrence Announces Month-Long Birthday Celebrations for Rajinikanth, Says ‘Everything I Am Today Is Because of Him’

Chennai: Actor, director and producer Raghava Lawrence has announced to celebrate the superstar’s 76th birthday with month long celebrations. He said everything he has achieved in the film industry is due to Superstar Rajinikanth.

“November 12 to December 12, we are celebrating Thalaivar’s birthday for a month,” said Lawrence who is an ardent fan of the actor.

“Thalaivar’s birthday celebration for a month. From 12th Nov to 12th Dec. 1 month! 1 Celebration! 1 Thalaivar!” he wrote on social media on Thursday.

“I am so proud and happy to see Thalaivar bring so much success to the industry at such a ripe age. So we want to celebrate his 76 birthday,” he said.

Lawrence Wishes to Celebrate With Rajinikanth

Although he wants to invite the actor to the celebrations and celebrate with him, he knows that the superstar is very humble and simple so might not be comfortable with a big celebration.

“The fans are doing it in their own way for a whole month.”

‘Everything I Am Today Is Because of Him’

“As I have been a fan since childhood, I have so much respect for him. Everything I am in the film industry today is because of him. There will never be another star like Thalaivar. His legacy is unique,” said Lawrence.

“We should celebrate his journey and birthday in the best way possible. We have been blessed by having Thalaivar bring us endless memories and happiness through generations.”
