Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda Critically Injured in Bike Accident in Himachal

Shimla: Famous Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda was involved in an accident in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. He has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali in a critical condition. Jawanda was travelling from Baddi to Shimla on his bike when the accident occurred.

He fell on the road while riding his bike, suffering a serious head injury. He is reported to be brain-dead. While being transported, he suffered a heart attack before reaching the hospital, which is why his condition is considered critical.

Singers Kanwar Grewal, Kulwinder Billa, and actor Karamjeet Anmol also rushed to Fortis Hospital upon learning of the accident. A team of doctors is currently continuing to examine Jawanda. A statement from the doctors is now awaited regarding Jawanda’s critical condition.

He was referred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on 27th September and reported in the Emergency at 1:45 PM in an extremely critical condition. As per available information, he had sustained severe head and spine injuries in a road accident earlier in the morning and had also suffered a cardiac arrest at the Civil Hospital before being transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

On arrival, he was immediately assessed by the Emergency and Neurosurgery teams. Detailed examinations and investigations were carried out, and he was placed on advanced life support at Fortis Hospital Mohali.

He is currently on ventilator support and remains in a critical state under close monitoring.
