    Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney Meets PM Modi, Announces Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Centres and ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva Bharat’ Initiative

    New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised his vision, commitment and dedication towards building a Viksit Bharat, particularly highlighting his focus on the aspirations and future of India’s youth.

    Sahney described PM Modi as his “revered leader and a constant source of inspiration”, saying that every interaction with the Prime Minister leaves him humbled by his vision and selfless dedication to the country.

    Highlighting initiatives for the youth, Sahney said more than 1.64 crore youth have been skilled, over 2.47 lakh recognised startups are contributing to enterprise and employment, 54.41 lakh apprentices have been engaged under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), and more than 1.64 lakh internship opportunities have been created under the PM Internship Scheme.

    Sahney Announces Youth Facilitation Centres Across Punjab

    Under the guidance and vision of Prime Minister Modi, Sahney said the World Punjabi Organisation and Sun Foundation are launching Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Facilitation Centres in various cities of Punjab.

    The centres will provide career counselling, skill mapping, employment support, entrepreneurship guidance, AI training and financial assistance to young people.

    ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva Bharat’ Initiative to Reach 5,000 Youth

    Sahney also announced ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva Bharat – Cultural Evenings’, an initiative aimed at taking the Prime Minister’s message against drug abuse to more than 5,000 youth across various cities in North India.

    The initiative will seek to inspire young people to take a pledge against drugs through cultural programmes and youth engagement activities.
