Ram Temple CEO Selection: Committee to Submit Three Shortlisted Names to Trust Today

Ayodhya: The selection committee for the appointment of the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Temple will submit the names of three shortlisted candidates to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Tuesday.

The committee will submit its final report on the selection process at the Ram Janmabhoomi premises. The Trust is expected to announce the name of the temple’s first CEO during an important meeting scheduled for Wednesday.

Three-member panel conducts interviews

The members of the committee constituted to conduct interviews for the CEO post have arrived in Ayodhya.

The panel comprises retired Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi and expert member Suresh Hawade.

The final selection is expected to take place during a meeting on Wednesday at the residence of the chairman of the Ram Temple Trust at Maniramdas Cantonment.

The Trust is also expected to announce the appointment of its secretary during Wednesday’s meeting. Jagdish Offley is likely to be appointed as the first secretary of the Ram Temple Trust.

The series of meetings will begin at 2 pm on Wednesday at Maniramdas Cantonment, where several important decisions concerning the Trust are expected to be taken.

New appointments in Ram Temple Trust

The appointment of the first CEO comes amid reports of the theft of offerings at the Ram Temple. The Trust is also expected to fill another vacant official position during the meeting.

Two important positions became vacant following the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, who served as senior office-bearers of the Trust.

Another position fell vacant following the recent death of Raja Ayodhya Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, a member of the Ram Mandir Trust.

The names for all three vacant positions could be officially announced on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, literary connoisseur Yatindra Mishra, son of the late Raja Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, is also likely to be inducted into the Ram Mandir Trust.

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) International General Secretary Bajrang Lal Bangra may also be inducted into the Trust.
