Ayodhya: Construction work on the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya is progressing rapidly. Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, said on Tuesday that most responsibilities are now in the final stages and work is under control. He expressed confidence that major projects will be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Conservation of Martyrs’ Memorial and Old Temple Site Continues
Mishra said that the main construction work is currently underway on the Martyrs’ Memorial. The site where the old temple once stood and where Ram Lalla was enshrined is also being preserved as a memorial.
He expressed hope that both these works will be completed by March 31 or at the latest by April 30.
Preparation of Temple Museum, Work on 20 Galleries
The next major challenge facing the construction committee is the development of the Temple Museum. Mishra stated that material is being prepared for the museum’s 20 galleries, and script writing is underway.
In addition, IIT Madras is developing a special gallery dedicated to Lord Hanuman, which is targeted for completion by September. He suggested that a limited number of visitors may be allowed into the museum after September.
Limited Darshan Arrangements After the President’s Visit
Mishra informed that darshan arrangements for visitors will be gradually resumed following President Draupadi Murmu’s proposed visit on March 19th.
Initially, 1,000 to 1,500 devotees will be allowed to visit various sites through passes. The President’s program is expected to last approximately four hours.
Focus on completing the work within the stipulated time
He reiterated that the construction committee’s goal is to complete all remaining work within the stipulated timeframe, while ensuring better facilities for devotees is also a priority.
