Release Delayed, Convoy Waits Outside Jail

Jail Superintendent Ramesh Kumar stated, “It may take some time for the release documents to arrive from the court.” A convoy of seven vehicles has arrived at the jail, comprising one Defender, five Fortuners and one black Scorpio. His family members arrived in the Scorpio. The vehicles are fitted with white curtains on the inside.
Rampal will proceed directly from the jail to the Dhanana Ashram located in Sonipat. His nephew, Yudhvir, confirmed this information. In light of this, security arrangements have been tightened at several checkpoints along the route from Hisar to Sonipat.

Clash Between Police and Supporters in 2014
