Ranbir Kapoor’s First Poster From Love & War Unveiled Ahead of January 2027 Release

Mumbai: The first poster of Ranbir Kapoor from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Love & War was unveiled on Thursday, offering the first official glimpse of the actor from the upcoming period romantic drama.

The poster shows Ranbir in a rugged avatar, with a blood-stained sleeve and a visible bullet mark on his shirt. He sports an intense expression in the first look from the film.

The poster also carries the caption: “Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon!” and confirms that Love & War will arrive in cinemas on January 21, 2027.

Love & War Set for January 2027 Release

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will be released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The poster launch comes shortly after the film completed its shoot. The project has now entered the post-production stage ahead of its theatrical release.

Love & War was initially announced for Christmas 2025. The release was later postponed, with March 20, 2026 announced as the revised date before the makers confirmed January 21, 2027 as the new release date.

Ranbir, Alia and Vicky Lead Bhansali’s Epic Romantic Drama

Directed by Bhansali, Love & War brings Ranbir, Alia and Vicky together for the first time in the lead cast. The film has been described as an epic romantic drama set against the backdrop of war.

Reports have suggested that Ranbir and Vicky play Air Force officers whose lives become connected with Alia’s character. However, the filmmakers have kept major details about the storyline and characters under wraps.

Love & War marks Ranbir Kapoor’s reunion with Bhansali after Saawariya, which marked the actor’s Bollywood debut in 2007.

Alia Bhatt previously collaborated with Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi, while Love & War marks Vicky Kaushal’s first film with the filmmaker.
