A major update has come out in the case of the death of 19-year-old Ranjit Singh in a police encounter in Gurdaspur. Let us tell you that the postmortem report of Ranjit Singh has come out. In this report, many important revelations have been made.

What did the post-mortem report said? 

Let us tell you that this postmortem, conducted by the doctors, lasted for 4 hours and 8 minutes. In their report, the doctors revealed that there were a total of 6 wound marks on Ranjit Singh’s body.

One bullet wound was present on the right side of his chest. Another bullet wound was present on the left side of his chest. Blood was flowing from his mouth, nose, and ear.

Apart from this, the third and fourth wounds were found on the right and left sides of his back, and these wounds were present due to the bullets exiting. Apart from this, the fifth wound was on the left side of the forehead, where there was redness and swelling. The sixth wound was on the right leg.

It is worth noting that Punjab Police ASI Gurnam Singh and Home Guard jawan Ashok Kumar were shot dead at a post near Adiya village in Gurdaspur on February 22, 2026. The police had identified three youths including Ranjit Singh as suspects in this case.
