Raveena Tandon Says ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ Felt Like a Reunion with Old Friends

Mumbai, July 4: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has opened up about reuniting with longtime friends and co-stars Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in Welcome to the Jungle, saying the experience felt more like a reunion than a film shoot.

Speaking about working with the ensemble cast, Raveena said being surrounded by familiar faces made the atmosphere enjoyable and relaxed.

“Most of the actors I worked with are old friends. Shooting with them felt like a fun get-together, and somewhere along the way, we ended up making a good film. I must credit Ahmed for managing such a large and experienced cast so smoothly,” she said.

A Star-Studded Comedy Ensemble

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle is the latest instalment in the popular Welcome franchise. The film features a massive ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Kiran Kumar, Kiku Sharda, Krishna Abhishek, Mika Singh and several others.

Raveena’s Bond with Her Co-Stars

Raveena shares a long professional association with both Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. She starred alongside Akshay in hit films such as Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Barood and Police Force: An Inside Story.

She also shared the screen with Suniel Shetty in films including Dilwale, Vinashak, Rakshak and Aakrosh, making their on-screen reunion in Welcome to the Jungle a nostalgic moment for fans.

Film Receives Positive Response

The actress had earlier revealed that she, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani bonded while caring for a stray puppy during the film’s shoot, with the puppy eventually becoming part of her family.
