Rewari Youth Dies by Suicide in Hotel Room

In Rewari, a young man took his own life by hanging himself with a ‘chunni’ (scarf) inside a hotel in Sector-6, Dharuhera. The incident has caused a stir in the surrounding area. Due to a domestic dispute, Rahul Yadav a resident of Sector-6 had been staying at the hotel as a paying guest for the past 10 days. The reasons cited for the suicide are reported to be debt and domestic discord.

Upon receiving the information, the Sector-6 police reached the scene, took custody of the body, and initiated an investigation into the matter.

According to reports, Rahul one of the two sons of Amar Singh, a resident of Sector-6 was unmarried. He had accumulated a significant amount of debt due to betting on IPL matches, which caused him considerable stress. Consequently, he frequently quarreled with his family. It was precisely because of these disputes with his family that he had rented a room and been staying at the hotel for the last 10 days.

Discovery Made by Hotel Staff

On Tuesday evening, when the hotel staff arrived at the room, they found Rahul hanging from the ceiling fan by a *chunni*. The staff immediately informed the hotel owner and the police. Following the report, the Dharuhera Sector-6 police arrived at the scene, brought the body down from the noose, and took it into custody. No suicide note was found on the deceased during the investigation. The police have informed the family and have commenced their inquiry into the case.
