RJD to Hold Protest March to Delhi Raj Bhawan on August 19 Over Exam Paper Leaks: Tejashwi Yadav

New Delhi: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday announced that his party will hold a protest march to the Delhi Raj Bhawan on August 19 against alleged irregularities and paper leaks in examinations in Bihar.

Yadav said the party would submit its grievances to the Governor during the protest. He alleged that paper leaks had become a recurring problem in Bihar and questioned the state government’s action against those responsible.

Tejashwi Targets Bihar Government Over Paper Leaks

“There isn’t a single exam or recruitment drive where the paper doesn’t get leaked. Whether it is the Class 10 exam, the Class 12 exam, or a recruitment test, the paper leaks every time, and a fair selection process has never taken place,” Yadav said.

He also alleged that Bihar was among the worst-performing states in education and criticised the government’s handling of protests by students.

Referring to the recent incident in Siwan, Yadav questioned the use of an AK-47 during a protest and asked who had ordered the firing.

RJD Questions Action Against Officials

Yadav said the RJD had earlier met the Bihar Director General of Police and sought answers from the government over the incident.

He alleged that only a constable had been dismissed so far and claimed that no major action, including suspension of the SP, had been taken.

“On the 19th, we will march to the Raj Bhawan,” he said.

Tejashwi Raises Salary Payment Issue

The RJD leader also criticised the Bihar government over alleged delays in salary payments to employees.

Earlier this week, he claimed that teachers working in grant-aided Madrasas and Sanskrit schools had not received salaries for several months. He also alleged financial mismanagement and corruption in the state.

Yadav further claimed that even legislators and ministers had faced delays in receiving their salaries.

The RJD’s planned protest comes amid wider concerns and protests over alleged irregularities in competitive and recruitment examinations in several parts of the country.
