Road Accident in Dalhousie; car plunges into gorge leaves two tourists dead, four injured

A major road accident took place as a car with tourists plunged down into a deep gorge. The accident took place near Dalhousie. At the time of the accident, there were six people inside the car.

As per information, two tourists lost their lives in a road accident at Karelnu in the tourist town of Dalhousie, while four other tourists sustained serious injuries. Following preliminary treatment, two of the injured have been referred to Tanda, while the remaining two have been admitted to a hospital for further medical care.

What happened? 

The vehicle plunged 1.5 kilometers down into a deep gorge. All the tourists are reported to be from Jalandhar, Punjab. The accident occurred late at night. The group consisted of three young men and three young women, all of whom work at a healthcare facility in Jalandhar.

Of these, one young man and one young woman died, and four were critically injured. Superintendent of Police Vijay Saklani confirmed that a case involving the death of two tourists in a vehicular accident has been reported. The police are currently investigating to ascertain the causes of the accident.
