Gangster Rohit injured in Gurugram encounter with STF

Gurgaon, Aug 31: Sharpshooter and rewardee Rohit has been seriously injured in an encounter with the Special Task Force in Gurugram. Half a dozen cases, including an attempt to murder and Arms Act, are registered against him in various police stations. Rohit is originally a resident of village Bhadraf in Mahendragarh and there was a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest. He is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and works for Lawrence’s special man, Rohit Godara.

Rohit has been seriously injured in the encounter with the police and has been referred to Rohtak PGI. He has been shot in his leg.

Inspector in-charge of SIT Gurugram, Narendra Chauhan, said that they had received input that Rohit was seen near Faridabad Road and he was planning to commit a crime. On which a check post was set up near village Baliawas.

Rohit, a shooter associated with an organized criminal gang , was planning to commit a big crime and was stopped here while planning a big crime. When he was stopped, he opened fire on the police team with the intention to kill them. The police team immediately retaliated in self-defense. After a brief exchange of fire, the accused was caught. During this, accused Rohit was injured by a bullet.

The injured accused was immediately admitted to the general hospital, from where he was referred to PGIMS Rohtak due to his critical condition.
