Teenage Girl Dies by Hanging in Rohtak, Father Suspects Foul Play

Rohtak: A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in Singhpura village in Rohtak district, police said on Sunday. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and started investigation. The police sent the body to the dead house for postmortem. The police are investigating the matter.

The deceased, identified as 16-year-old Anjali, committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan hook in the room. At the time of Anjali’s suicide, she was alone at home, while her mother was out for work. After the information, the police reached and started investigation.

Father accused of murder

Anjali’s father, Deepak, a resident of Bansi village, said that his daughter has been murdered. His wife Reena left her in-laws in village Bansi and lived with her daughter Anjali on rent at Preeti and her aunt’s house in village Singhpura. She didn’t even let me meet Anjali. Preeti and her aunt have killed her daughter. The police took the body.
