RPSC Releases RAS 2026 Vacancy Details; Applications, Posts and Eligibility Soon

Ajmer: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced recruitment for 607 posts under the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services (RAS) Combined Competitive Examination-2026.

There are 192 posts for the State Services and 415 posts for the Subordinate Services. Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027.

On April 17, the Commission released the results for RAS-2024. Before this, in January, the state government had released a calendar for recruitment examinations covering one lakh vacancies. This calendar indicated that the RAS recruitment for 2026 would cover approximately 500 posts. May 3 had been the proposed date for the preliminary examination for this recruitment; however, the official vacancy notification was not issued at that time.

Examination Fee Structure

₹600 for general (unreserved) applicants, as well as applicants belonging to the ‘creamy layer’ category of Other Backward Classes (OBC) or More Backward Classes (MBC) of Rajasthan.

₹400 for applicants belonging to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ category of OBC/MBC, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) of Rajasthan.
