    RSS Punjab Concludes Sangh Shiksha Varg 2026 in Pathankot; 111 Trainees Complete Training

    Pathankot: The Sangh Shiksha Varg 2026 organized by the Punjab Prant of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded on Saturday, June 20, at A.B. College, Pathankot. The training camp, which began on June 5 at Gems Cambridge International School, saw the participation of 111 trainees from diverse backgrounds, including farmers, school and college students, professors, research scholars, and private professionals.

    RSS Promotes Nationalism and Sense of Duty: Col Salaria

    Retired Colonel Sarabjit Salaria attended the closing ceremony as the special guest. Speaking on the role of the RSS, he said the organization emphasizes not only fundamental rights but also fundamental duties. He highlighted that the RSS instills a sense of nationalism and inspires individuals to contribute positively towards the nation.

    Moral Values Key to Solving Social Problems: Dr Manmohan Singh

    Renowned cardiologist Dr. Manmohan Singh attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said that while medicines can cure physical ailments, social problems cannot be solved through laws alone and require strong moral values. He noted that the RSS has been working for the last 100 years to inculcate such values in society. He urged participants to adopt three resolutions — commitment to character, commitment to society, and commitment to the nation.

    Banveer Singh Highlights RSS Centenary, India’s Rising Global Role

    The keynote address was delivered by Banveer Singh, Kshetra Pracharak Pramukh. He described the camp as a special training session being held during the centenary year of the RSS. Elaborating on the objectives of the camp, he spoke about the values developed through its various activities, India’s growing global stature, and the country’s role in promoting world peace.

    Banveer Singh highlighted India’s economic progress, noting that while the country once faced a situation where it had to pledge its gold reserves, it has now emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy. He also paid tribute to Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji, recalling his efforts to unite society and promote social harmony. He said Guru Ravidas Ji remains a source of inspiration for the entire nation, and his teachings continue to benefit humanity.

    He also called upon society to adopt and promote the concept of “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations) to strengthen social unity and national development.

    The camp concluded with 111 participants successfully completing their training, marking the successful culmination of the RSS Punjab Prant Sangh Shiksha Varg 2026.
