‘Run for Unity’ held in Fatehabad to mark Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, CM Saini flags off

A grand “Run for Unity” was organized in Fatehabad on the birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister and Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. More than 15,000 people participated in the run, spreading the message of unity and nation-building.

Chief Minister Nayab Saini flagged off the event. He then showered flowers on the participants, which continued for about half an hour. In the enthusiastic atmosphere, the Chief Minister himself participated in the Run for Unity, running all the way to M.M. College.

In a post on X, CM Nayab Saini said, “Joined the family members of Haryana in Run for unity organized in Fatehabad on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Mata’s son, the first Home Minister, the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ji. This run is a nationwide yajna dedicated to India’s unity and integrity, in which we all are participating. This event, conducted in all districts of Haryana, was made successful by millions of youth with their enthusiasm, zeal, and energy, for which I thank everyone.”

In his address, CM Saini paid tribute to Sardar Patel, saying that India is united today because of his tireless efforts. He said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel laid the foundation of a united India by uniting the princely states of the country; hence, he is called the Iron Man.” The Chief Minister also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also following Patel’s path and taking the country’s development and unity to new heights.

During the event, students from various schools presented cultural performances, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. On this occasion, many BJP leaders and administrative officers including former MLA Dudaram, BJP District President Parveen Joda, Harcofed Chairman Ved Phulla, and Baldev Groha were present.
