Samir Soni said – I won’t do supporting roles even after 25 years, I’ll quit acting if I don’t get a lead role

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Samir Soni made a big statement about his career on Tuesday.

The actor said that after working in the industry for more than 25 years, he would prefer to quit acting rather than play supporting roles.

Displeasure reflected in social media post
Samir Soni shared a candid post on his social media account, writing,

“I would rather ‘quit’ acting… than play a ‘good’ son, brother, husband, father, or any other supporting role! I’ve been waiting for 25 years, now the time has come to play a lead role.”

Along with this post, he also shared a close-up photo of himself, in which he looks serious in a red T-shirt.

He also used the hashtag #latenightmusings, suggesting that the post is the result of late-night thoughts.

A Long Journey in Films and TV
Samir Soni has been a well-known face in both films and television.

He has worked in films like Fashion, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. He starred alongside Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Mugdha Godse.

He has also played important supporting roles in films like Baghban, Vivah, and Student of the Year.
