Firing at Sampla Wedding Leaves Woman, Daughter Injured; Gunman on the Run

Rohtak: A case of firing took place during a wedding ceremony at Parshuram Bhawan on Beri Road in Sampla town of Rohtak district, police said on Sunday. A girl and a woman were injured in the incident, causing chaos on the spot. The incident took place around 9:20 pm on Tuesday night.

The injured woman and the child have been admitted to a private hospital for immediate treatment. The injured have been identified as 11-year-old Yasika, who was shot in the leg. The other injured woman is Savita’s wife Balraj, a resident of Pinana (Sonipat), who was shot in the shoulder.

The police are investigating the matter.

As soon as the incident was reported, the Sampla police reached the spot and inspected the spot closely. During the investigation, the police have collected blood samples from three different places in the building premises.

The police are currently investigating the matter. The police are trying to find out who fired the shots, how the bullet was fired and what was the reason behind this incident. Further investigations are in progress.
