In a significant law enforcement breakthrough, the SAS Nagar Police have busted an illegal weapon smuggling module, arresting four accused: 1. Danveer, 2.Bunty, 3. Sikander Sheikh, and 4. Krishan Kumar (also known as Happy Gujjar). Authorities recovered five pistols, two vehicles, and ₹2 lakh in cash during the operation.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the prime accused Danveer, an associate of the Papla Gujjar gang, active in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, along with Bunty, came to deliver weapons to Happy Gujjar and Sikander Sheikh.
An FIR has been registered at PS Sadar Kharar, SAS Nagar, and further investigations are underway to trace both backward and forward linkages, aiming to dismantle the entire criminal network.
The Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to eliminating organised criminal syndicates and ensuring the safety and security of citizens across the state.
