Chandigarh: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has arrested a private driver from Mohali red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 during its ongoing anti-corruption drive in the state. According to an official spokesperson, the accused, identified as Amandeep, works as a private driver with Raftar Tools and Travel Company, Mohali. He was arrested following.
SAS Nagar administration has created history by planting 1.5 lakh saplings on Tuesday to increase greenery for environmental conservation in the district. The beginning of this historic initiative was done by MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa and Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Ashika Jain.
