New Delhi: About 12.75 lakh appointment letters have been issued through the ‘National Rozgar Mela’ across 20 editions to date, according to a government factsheet. Launched in October 2022 with an initial target of 10 lakh government jobs, the initiative has since evolved into a nationwide mission-mode recruitment effort. New recruits have joined various departments, including the Ministries of Railways, Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Financial Services, Labour and Employment, and the Department of Posts.
