    3. Delhi Police Arrest Cab Driver in Mehrauli Child Rape-Murder Case

    Delhi: The Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested a cab driver in connection with the abduction, rape, and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Delhi’s Mehrauli area. Authorities managed to track down and apprehend the accused within six hours of the incident. According to the police, the suspect abducted the young girl around 5:00 A.M. on Monday while she was sleeping on the pavement alongside her family.

    Lucknow: The three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe alleged irregularities and misappropriation of funds in the Ram Temple donation row submitted a report on its initial findings to the state government on Tuesday.

    5. 1993 Bowbazar blast: SC stays Delhi HC order for TADA convict’s premature release

    New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the Delhi High Court order directing the premature release of Mohammed Rashid Khan, who was convicted in the 1993 Bowbazar bomb blasts in Kolkata that claimed 69 lives.

    A bench of Justices PK Mishra and Sanjeev Sachdeva passed the interim order while issuing notice on the petition of the West Bengal government challenging the Delhi High Court’s order for the release of the TADA convict.
