SC restricts sale, storage and purchase of fireworks in Jalandhar

Delhi: The Supreme Court of India  in an order issued on Monday restricts the sale, storage and purchase of fireworks in Jalandhar.

 The court also directs that no fireworks will  be busted or lighted in any silence zone like near hospitals, schools and other institutions.

SC also directs that no sale of firecrackers will be allowed in the area also.

The order shall remain in force from 26-12 2024 to 25-02-2025.
