Tragedy on Wheels: School Bus Overturns, Headmaster Killed

In Karauli, a private school bus overturned. The government school headmaster died after coming under the bus. The headmaster was going from home towards the school. The accident happened about one kilometer before the school. However, none of the children on the bus were seriously injured.

The accident occurred near a petrol pump on Suroth’s Bayana Road at around 7:50 am on Wednesday. After the accident, there was shouting and screaming at the scene.

Bus went out of control after hitting an electric pole
ASI Murari Lal of Surauṭh police station informed – A private school bus of Surauṭh, carrying children, was going from Dhandhawali towards Surauṭh. At the same time, Bhuri Singh Meena (58) was going from Bhukarawali towards Dhandhawali on a bike. Near the petrol pump, the school bus hit an electric pole, went out of control, and collided with the bike, causing it to overturn.

Headmaster injured in bus collision
The collision damaged the bike, and it went far away, while the biker, Bhuri Singh Meena, sustained internal injuries including injuries to his hands and feet, which led to his death on the spot. After the accident, there was a cry and commotion at the scene.

Accident One Kilometer Before School
Bhuri Singh Meena (58), son of Shankar Lal Dhandhawali, was working as the headmaster at the Government Upper Primary School. He met with an accident about one kilometer before reaching the school. Upon receiving the information, the Suroth police station reached the spot and took the body to Hindon District Hospital. The police have seized the accident-affected bus.

Bhuri Singh Meena’s son, Rishi Meena, said that his father left home for duty around 6:30 in the morning. Bhuri Singh Meena’s family includes his wife Premdevi, son Rishi (who is a technician in the railway in Guna, Madhya Pradesh), second son Ramkesh (who is a station master in Bangalore), and a daughter Reena (who has BA, BEd degrees). This incident has created an atmosphere of mourning in the village.
