Here, the state president of Uttar Pradesh BTC Teachers Association, Anil Yadav, has written a letter to CM Yogi, in which he has demanded extension of summer holidays in schools. Primary schools will open on June 15. Anil said – It is very hot at this time, children can fall ill.
There is a heat wave alert in 9 districts today. Jhansi was the hottest city in 24 hours. The temperature here was recorded at 46°C. Agra was at second place with 45.2°C. The Meteorological Department has advised not to go out of the house between 11 am and 3 pm. Wear full clothes, use umbrella and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.
When will the monsoon arrive?
The southwest monsoon arrived in Kerala 10 days before its time. The monsoon is expected to arrive in Uttar Pradesh within the next 5-10 days. There is a possibility that the monsoon may enter the state anytime between 15 and 20 June. Normally, the monsoon arrives in UP on 20-25 June, but this time the monsoon is expected to arrive before time.

Electricity consumption increased due to heat

Doctors advice- Drink Lemonade and buttermilk to avoid heat

Demand to CM Yogi to extend holidays in primary schools

The rising temperature and heatwave conditions have rung alarm bells, especially for children. In such a situation, the decision to open schools from June 16 for small children studying in council schools can prove to be risky for their health.
He said, currently the temperature in many areas of Uttar Pradesh has crossed 48 degrees Celsius. In such circumstances, children’s health can be adversely affected, diseases caused by extreme heat such as sunstroke, dehydration, and fatigue can affect the health of children. The body of small children is less capable of tolerating heat.
Keeping in view the interest of the students and in view of this intense heat (heat wave), he has demanded from the Chief Minister to extend the date of operation (summer vacation) of the council schools of the state and all private schools up to class 8.
