Scorpio collides with Alto in Jalandhar; Woman driver injured

In Jalandhar, a woman driving a Scorpio at high speed hit another car. The Scorpio overturned on the road. The car’s windows and body were completely shattered and crushed. The woman was trapped inside the Scorpio, who was pulled out by bystanders. The other car also suffered damage from the Scorpio collision.

According to information from passersby, police arrived at the scene and began investigating the incident. People at the scene reported that the woman was driving the Scorpio at high speed, leading to the accident.

The accident occurred at Chunmun Chowk around 11:30 pm. Following the incident, police sent the occupants of both vehicles home and asked them to report to the police station the next day.

The Alto driver, Ramesh, was driving his daughter to her in-laws’ house with his family. The incident occurred when a speeding Scorpio, coming from Model Town, hit the Alto car without seeing the lights. The impact was so severe that the woman driving the Scorpio lost control and the car overturned in the middle of the road.

After the accident, the damaged cars were left stranded on the road, causing significant traffic problems for pedestrians. People immediately informed the police at Station 6 and the Bus Stand Police Post. Upon receiving the information, Bus Stand Police Post in-charge Mohinder Singh arrived at the scene with his team.
