Seventeen people were injured on Saturday when several vehicles collided on an interstate highway in eastern Texas in the US.
A major interstate highway was blocked for hours due to this accident.
Fire Chief Jeremy LaRue in Lindale, Texas, said that 17 people were injured when two tractor-trailers and six passenger vehicles collided on Interstate 20.
He said that the injured have been admitted to hospitals and probably no one is seriously injured.
LaRue said that the accident took place around 4 pm near Lindale, which is about 90 miles (144 kilometers) east of Dallas.
He said that traffic on Interstate 20 remained blocked for more than two hours after the accident.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
