Shah Rukh Khan joins billionaire club, Mukesh Ambani tops Hurun India Rich List 2025, Overtakes Gautam Adani

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially entered the billionaire club, leading the celebrity rankings in the Hurun India Rich List 2025 with a net worth of ₹12,490 crore (approx. $1.4 billion).

This marks the first time the actor has crossed the billion-dollar threshold.

King Khan in Global League

Shah Rukh now stands alongside global icons such as Rihanna and Tiger Woods (both worth $1.4 billion), though still behind Taylor Swift ($1.6 billion) and Kim Kardashian ($1.7 billion), according to Forbes 2025.

The biggest contributor to his fortune is Red Chillies Entertainment, co-founded with his wife, Gauri Khan, in 2002. The production house, which has backed many of Shah Rukh’s projects, also struck a landmark deal with Netflix in 2016 for streaming rights to all past and future films.

Family Success and Lavish Assets

The Khan family has seen a series of wins this year, with Aryan Khan’s directorial debut Ba**ds of Bollywood* earning success on Netflix. Beyond his production empire, SRK owns Mannat, his iconic ₹200 crore bungalow in Mumbai, currently under renovation. The family is staying in a luxury apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill at a rent of ₹24 lakh per month, while also leasing another property for staff accommodation.
