Shahzad Poonawala again urges BJP to accept resignation

New Delhi: BJP leader Shahzad Poonawala has once again appealed to the party to accept his resignation. He had previously offered to resign from all party posts, but instead of accepting his resignation, the BJP asked him to reconsider his decision.

Expressed gratitude for the party’s decision

In a letter shared on Monday, Poonawala said that the party’s refusal to immediately accept his resignation and asking him to reconsider his decision was emotional for him. He also expressed gratitude for the BJP’s stance.

Said – The decision is final

However, Poonawala said that after much deliberation, he has made his final decision. He has requested the BJP to relieve him of the position of National Spokesperson and active primary membership of the party.
