Shimla: HPU releases schedule of examinations to be held in December

Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, has released the schedule for examinations to be held in December 2025. According to the Conduct Branch, examinations for PGDCA, M.Ed., M.Sc. Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence courses will begin on December 12th.

All examinations will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. PGDCA first and second semester examinations will be held from December 12th to 20th. Subjects included are Programming in C, Data and File Structures, System Analysis and Design, Operating Systems, Object-Oriented Programming in C++, and Database Management Systems.

31 Examination Centers Set Up Across the State

31 examination centers have been set up across the state for the examinations, including Shimla, Seema Rohru, Solan, Bilaspur, Kangra, Hamirpur, Una, Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Reckong Peo, and Rampur Bushahr. M.Ed. second and fourth semester examinations will be held on December 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th.

It includes subjects like historical and sociological basis of education, research and publication ethics, political and economic basis, statistics, educational administration, curriculum development, teacher education and evaluation. M.Ed. examinations will be held at Shimla and Dharamshala’s Khaniyara centre.

The datesheet of M.Sc. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence have also been revised. The examination of Probability and Statistics subject which was earlier proposed on 2 December will now be held on 13 December.

The timing will remain as before from 2 pm to 5 pm. University’s Examination Controller Shyam Lal Kaushal said that all the students have been advised to prepare as per the new datesheet. The revised information is also available on the university’s website.
