Shocking: Man kills and beheads victim over small argument

New Delhi: A minor dispute took a horrific turn on Thursday in Forbesganj, Araria district, Bihar. A dispute over parking escalated to the point where a roadside vendor brutally murdered a pickup driver.

Spread terror by beheading on the road

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Nabi Hussain, a resident of Jogbani. The accused, Ravi Chauhan, a sattu seller, stabbed Hussain with a knife during the argument and severed his head.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accused wandered the street with the severed head, causing panic in the area. A video of the entire incident also surfaced, which quickly went viral on social media.

Mob beats accused to death

Following the murder, the deceased’s family and angry residents tracked down the accused, who was hiding near his home. The mob dragged him to the scene and brutally beat him with sticks.

The seriously injured accused was taken to the hospital by police, where he also died.

Tension in the area, police deployment increased

Following the incident, a large crowd gathered, and the situation became tense. Clashes also broke out between the police and the mob.

Authorities have deployed additional police forces and increased patrolling in the area to control the situation.

Political rhetoric intensifies, investigation underway

Police officer Jitendra Kumar stated that the incident began as a minor dispute and escalated into violence. Both deaths are being investigated, and strict action will be taken against the culprits.

The incident has also drawn political backlash. Tejashwi Yadav, targeting the state government, questioned law and order and said that such crimes are on the rise.

The police have appealed to the public to maintain peace and not take the law into their own hands.
