Shots Fired Outside Akali Dal Worker’s Residence in Dera Baba Nanak

Gurdaspur: In a tragic incident, Unidentified assailants opened fire outside the home of a Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) worker, Harsimrat Bajwa in Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur district, Punjab, on Sunday night. According to reports, the attack was motivated by the worker’s refusal to pay extortion money demanded by the perpetrators.

The incident, which occurred in the town of Dera Baba Nanak, was captured on CCTV, showing the attackers firing multiple rounds before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported, and the Gurdaspur police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits. Authorities are analyzing footage and exploring leads related to local criminal activity.
