₹2.91 Lakh Job Scam Qatar: Sikar Victim Scammed, Accused Dares Action

Rajasthan: In Sikar, a young man fell victim to a fraud scheme, losing ₹2.91 lakh under the pretext of securing a job for him in Qatar. When the young man demanded the return of his money from the accused, the latter retorted, “You cannot harm me in any way. I have dealt with many people like you.” Upon being threatened with a police complaint, the accused identified as Kiran Babu blacklisted the young man’s phone number. The Dadia Police Station has registered a case and initiated an investigation. The victim had met the accused agent in Goa, where he was lured into the scam.

Om Prakash Sain, a resident of Khori Brahmanan within the Dadia Police Station jurisdiction, filed a complaint at the Dadia Police Station. He stated that he previously worked in the accounts department of a hotel in Goa. During that time, he became acquainted with Kiran Babu Bhandari, a native of Karnataka. In October 2024, Kiran Babu called Om Prakash and informed him that his brother was opening a supermarket in Qatar.

Repeated Delay in Visa Assurance

The complaint further stated: “Subsequently, ₹3.36 lakh was transferred to Kiran Babu.” Kiran continued to stall for a considerable period regarding the issuance of the visas. When Om Prakash demanded the return of his money, Kiran refunded ₹45,000 but has now refused to return the remaining ₹2.91 lakh. Kiran told Om Prakash, “You cannot harm me in any way. I have dealt with many people like you.”
