Mumbai: Actress Sonali Bendre has shared her book picks for December, offering readers a festive mix of mystery, magic and meaningful storytelling.

December Book Picks

Titled SBC Book(s) of the Month – December Edition, Sonali recommended three titles for the holiday season: Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie, We Do Not Part by Han Kang, and The Wood at Midwinter by Susanna Clarke. Inviting readers to join online discussions, she encouraged everyone to read one, two or all three books and end the year surrounded by stories and imagination.

Sharing her post, Sonali wrote that the holiday spirit made it impossible to choose just one book. She described Christie’s novel as a classic, twist-filled murder mystery, Han Kang’s work as a haunting and dreamlike tale of friendship and memory, and Susanna Clarke’s book as a magical winter story filled with wonder.

Sonali also announced that three separate online textual discussions would be hosted for the selected books, allowing readers to engage at their own pace. Known for her love of literature, the actress frequently shares her reading recommendations with her followers, inspiring many to explore new titles.
