Sonipat: Speeding car hits bike in Gohana; One killed, one injured

Late Thursday night, a speeding car hit a motorcycle in the city. A young man named Naman, who was riding the motorcycle, died in the accident, while his friend was injured. Police arrived at the scene and rushed both to the Civil Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.

Naman, 21, and his friend, Sumit, 22, who live near Mor Chowk on Baroda Road, were traveling toward the city on Jind Road around 8:30 p.m. When they reached the railway overbridge on Jind Road, a speeding Creta car hit the motorcycle.

Naman and Sumit were seriously injured. Both were taken to the Civil Hospital in Gohana. Doctors declared Naman dead, and Sumit was given first aid.

Naman previously worked for a private company and was at home. Police from the City Police Station arrived at the scene upon receiving information. Police are investigating the incident and have launched a search for the car driver.
