Speeding Car hits two women on activa in Jalandhar Cantt; both seriously injured

A tragic road accident took place near Deep Nagar in Jalandhar Cantt, Punjab, where a speeding silver coloured Verna car (PB 08 CK 9990) hit two women riding an Activa. The collision was so severe that both women jumped several feet in the air and fell onto the road.

This horrific scene was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. Both women were seriously injured in the accident, one of whom started bleeding profusely from the head. The local people immediately rushed the injured to the hospital and the accused driver, a young man, was caught on the spot. The police were informed about the inciden,t and an investigation has been started.

Speeding, Verna hit the Activa 

According to eyewitnesses, two women riding an Activa were coming from Deep Nagar. At the same time, a speeding and uncontrolled Verna car coming from the front hit them directly. After the collision, the Activa was shattered, and the women fell on the road. After the accident, the local people caught the driver and the injured were immediately taken to the hospital.

Police start an investigation 

The police reached the spot and took the CCTV footage into their possession, and started investigating the case. In the initial investigation, the negligence of the car driver and high speed are said to be the main reasons for the accident. The police are now preparing to take appropriate action against the accused.
