Sources said that Rohan Jaitley’s name is at the forefront in the race to become the board secretary. Everyone agreed on Rohan’s name. Other officials including President Roger Binny will remain in their respective posts, as their tenure is ending after a year. Rohan Jaitley is son of late Arun Jailtley who served as Finance Minister in Narendra Modi’s first term.

It is almost certain that BCCI’s current secretary Jay Shah will become the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). He can file his nomination by this evening. In such a situation, Shah will have to leave the post of the Indian board. The term of current ICC chairman Greg Barclay ends on November 30.
