New Delhi: England has announced the playing XI for the second T20 against India. The match is to be played on 25 January at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Captain Jos Buttler has made one change in the team. Fast bowler Brydon Carse has been included in place of Gus Atkinson. The first match of the series was played in Kolkata, in which England lost by 7 wickets.
Atkinson out due to poor performance
Atkinson’s performance in the first T20 match was poor. He gave 38 runs in 2 overs. After losing the first match on Wednesday, the visiting team informed on social media platform X that wicketkeeper Jamie Smith has also been included in the team of 12 players.

Under the leadership of Varun Chakraborty, the Indian bowlers performed brilliantly and bowled out the England team for 132. He took 3 wickets. Later India batted fast and achieved the target in 12.5 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
