Indian wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul is out of Team India due to injury and is under the observation of the medical team. Meanwhile, it is reported that Rahul has returned to India from London after medical checkup.
A source close to the cricketer told, ‘He will be staying at the NCA in Bengaluru for rehabilitation and will work to get fully fit before IPL 2024.’
It is believed that the captain of Lucknow Super Giants will soon get approval from the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
The source said, ‘It was not a major injury, but he was not feeling 100 per cent fit and did not want to take any big risks. Hence, he decided to withdraw from the England series. He went to London for check-up and is fine now.
Rahul is likely to play in Lucknow Super Giants’ opening match against Rajasthan Royals on March 24.
