South Africa won the match by 1 wicket here in Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. South Africa had a strong grip over the match but after the dismissal of Aiden Markram who made 91 runs paved.

Pakistan took major wickets and turned the match in their favor. But slow and steady, SA team played without taking risks of great shots and made a comeback by taking singles only.

Pak team was all out at 270 runs in 46.4 overs and gave target of 271 to SA to win the match. SA achieved the target of 271 at the completion of 47.2 overs. Tabraiz Shamsi won player of the match. Now with this win, SA has been placed at the top of the points tally taking India down by one step.
