T20 World Cup: 12 matches to be played between Super 8; Check complete schedule of India

Team India will play its 3 matches on 3 different grounds. Out of these, 2 grounds are batting-friendly while one is where the bowling dominated the tournament

All 8 teams of the Super-8 round were decided on Monday morning in the T-20 World Cup. Bangladesh defeated Nepal in the Group-D match and made it to the Super 8. 12 matches will be played in total 4 stadiums in the Super-8. Team India will play its 3 matches on 3 different grounds. Out of these, 2 grounds are batting-friendly while one is where the bowling matters.

The Super-8 stage will start from June 19. Here 4-4 teams have been divided into 2 groups. India, Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are in Group-1 whereas Group-2 include England, West Indies, South Africa and America. All the matches from this round will be played on 4 grounds of West Indies. There will be 4 matches in Antigua and 2 in St. Vincent. At the same time, 3-3 matches will be played in St. Lucia and Barbados.

The first match of this round will be played between America and South Africa on June 19. India will play its first match against Afghanistan on June 20. The last match of the Super-8 stage will be played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh on June 25.

Schedule of Team India

India Vs Afghanistan

On June 20, Team India will play against Afghanistan in Barbados. Here both spin and pace bowlers dominated the tournament. The team has not lost a single T20 match against Afghanistan so far.

India Vs Bangladesh

On June 22, Team India will play against Bangladesh in Antigua. Here pacers dominated and the average score could reach only 91. India will play in Antigua for the first time. However, the good thing for India is that the team has won 12 out of 13 T20s against Bangladesh.

India Vs Australia

Team India will clash against Australia in St. Lucia on 24 June. Here only one match could be played between Australia and Scotland, in which Scotland scored 180 runs, but Australia achieved the target. Here India had played 3 T-20s, won 2 and lost one. Team India has won 19 out of 31 T-20s against Australia.
