WPL 2024 : Women’s Premier League 2024 i.e. Women’s IPL will start from Friday, February 23. The first match of the tournament will be played between the current champions Mumbai Indians and last season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals. This will be the second season of the five-team tournament. Like the last time, a total of 22 matches including the final will be played in the tournament.
All 22 matches of the tournament will be played from 7:30 PM onwards. The final of this tournament, which started on February 23, will be played on March 17.
All matches of the tournament will be played in Delhi and Bengaluru, with Arun Jaitley Stadium and M Chinnaswamy Stadium as the hosts. There will be a trophy competition between five teams.
A total of five teams will participate in WPL 2024, which will fight for the trophy. Five teams will feature – Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriors and Gujarat Giants. All teams will play 8-8 league matches. The top team will directly qualify for the finals, while an eliminator match will be played between the second and third ranked teams to make it to the finals.
