State Programme in Patna Pays Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Patna: The birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated with reverence and grandeur across the country on Wednesday. In Bihar, a state-level event was held at Patna’s Pataliputra Park to honor his immortal contributions and leadership.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and leaders paid floral tributes

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid tribute to Vajpayee by laying a wreath at his statue. Several senior ministers, MLAs, social organization representatives, and political figures were present at the ceremony.
These included Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Rural Works Minister Ashok Chaudhary, BJP Bihar President and MLA Sanjay Saraogi, MLAs Sanjeev Chaurasia and Ratnesh Kushwaha, and several other dignitaries.

Cultural programs included Aarti-Pujan, Bihar State Song, and patriotic songs, performed by artists from the Information and Public Relations Department, adding to the emotional atmosphere of the ceremony.

BJP also celebrated Vajpayee Jayanti

The BJP also celebrated Vajpayee’s birth anniversary at the state office. BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi, both Deputy Chief Ministers, State Ministers, and senior leaders were present and paid tribute to the former Prime Minister.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said, “Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s thoughts and guidance continue to inspire us. We will continue to follow his path and uphold his ideals.”

BJP President Sanjay Saraogi, recalling the special relationship between Vajpayee and Bihar, said, “Atal Bihari Vajpayee had deep affection for Bihar and made significant contributions to the state’s development. He often said, ‘The people of Bihar are Biharis, and I am Atal Bihari Vajpayee.’”
